Ministries
At Oasis we really strive to build people in Christ. In order to help us do that we have different ministries to meet the various needs of our congregation and community including a food pantry, Overcomers, Intercessory prayer, separate Men and Women's ministries and more. Below you will find a list of the ministries within Oasis. For more info or to get involved please contact the individual ministry's leader
| Children’s Ministry : |
A full array of classes and activities for our smallest yet incredibly important members. From the tiniest of the tiny in the nursery, through the pre-school ages and on to the elementary ages, there's a place for the kids at Oasis. The Children's ministry is led by Kristen Perry |
| Youth Ministry (U-turn) : |
Meeting twice a week (Sunday School & Youth Group), the Jr. High school and Sr. High school members are learning how life works when you let God be a part of it. The youth of Oasis are led by Harvey Moser |
| Worship : |
The large gathering of the Oasis family, this is where we come to worship God on a typical Sunday morning. The Oasis Worship team leads in singing praise and worship to our Lord, the ushers and greeters make sure everyone has a comfortable and uplifting experience, the coffee-time people serve up some yummy treats and beverages, and the Word of God is examined and explained. | Outreach : |
At Oasis, we're very interested, in fact, compelled to do whatever it takes to communicatr God's love to a hurting world. This includes helping folks with their issues, addictions, wounds, etc. We provide food through the Alex Roth Memorial Food Pantry, led by Kathy Dunbar; We distribute free toys for under-priviledged families at Christmastime, led by Lorrie Moore; We have a 12-step program called Overcomer's Outreach, led by Steve Calvert and will soon be launching a Bible-based recovery program known as Celebrate Recovery. |
| Prayer : |
We consider prayer vital to life. It's like air - we can't live without it. Currently there are two main prayer ministries at Oasis: Intercessory prayer which meets every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. to pray for all the requests that have come in and, the Oasis Prayer Chain, people who call others to respond to "emergency" prayer requests immediately. | Small Groups : | Join us as we meet in homes throughout the week to discuss the most recent sermon topic and study corresponding Bible verses in depth in order to learn how to apply biblical truth to real lives, and to develop genuine caring relationships that build the people of God up.
